Famicom Emulators with Tape Support
I would like to try and document every emulator out there that has the ability to read/write tape data via the Famicom. I don't plan on going super in-depth for each one; mainly I just want to say what works and what doesn't work, how to use the tape features, and maybe point out any extra features that make the emulator unique.
I have gathered up a pretty good list, but it will take me time to try them all out and write them up, so you can consider this a living document, that I will update as I go.
I will try to cover:
- Loading Family BASIC
- Using the Keyboard
- Switching between Keyboard and Controller
- Saving a program
- Loading a program
- Special features
Unless I mention otherwise, the emulators were run on Linux, either natively or via wine or mono.
Hey Listen
Obviously there's no real content here yet, but wanted to give a preview of what I plan on working on. Check back later!
